Nature always wins-- dedicated to USS Indianapolis survivor LD Cox
LD Cox's father was plowing a field with this mule-drawn plow at his ranch in Sidney, TX. This would have been in the 1930s. LD sees his father returning to the house with mules, without plow. He says, "What happened to the plow, daddy?" His dad says "If I ever plow that field again, then I'm craxier than I am today¡" The plow had gotten stuck in roots in this field, and has since been overcome by this tree.
